Wine Harvest Festival

April 16, 2013

Lakeridge Winery, established in 1988, is beautifully located within 80 acres of planted vineyards set among the rolling hills of Clermont, just 45 miles – or about a 50-minute drive – from central Kissimmee.

The winery’s flagship Harvest Festival event takes place over the weekend of June 21-23 and – for a day away from the theme parks – it’s a sure-fire holiday hit for lovers of wine, live music and good ol’ country fun.

This annual 3-day event features the tremendously popular ‘stomping of the grapes’ – in which visitors are invited to participate! – and there’s also a great line-up of musicians and bands, with line-dancing and ‘barrels’ of fun guaranteed for the whole family.

Local arts and crafts from over 80 small businesses will be on sale and Lakeridge’s own wine, as well as beer, soft drinks and a variety of hearty, country-style food are certain to satisfy every appetite.

Wine enthusiasts take note! Lakeridge also offers complimentary winery tours and tastings, with a video theatre show and expert tour guides on hand to make sure the entire winemaking process is explained. The tours finish on the balcony with spectacular views of the vineyards themselves.

Opening hours are 10am to 5pm, Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd June; 11am to 5pm, Sunday June 23rd. Admission is free, but a $2 donation to the Cornerstone Hospice will be requested.
